Select Your Game Mode

StarBlast features four unique game modes: team mode, survival mode, invasion, and pro deathmatch. For beginners, team mode is a great choice since you’ll have teammates to help you. You can join one of three factions:

• Sovereign Trappist Colonies
• Orion Arm Guild

Mining Gems

Gems are essential in StarBlast and can be obtained by mining asteroids or destroying enemy ships. Shoot asteroids until they break apart! Be sure to target rocks that are suitable for the strength and size of your ship.

Use the gems you collect to enhance your ship. You can also exchange them for credits to buy weapons at your team’s base. There are seven ship upgrade tiers and additional cargo space upgrades available for you to unlock.

At the bottom of your screen, you'll find the upgrade menu. Gems are instantly converted into these upgrades, listed in the following order:

• Shield capacity
• Shield regeneration
• Energy capacity
• Energy regeneration
• Laser damage
• Weapon speed
• Ship speed
• Ship agility

Engage in Combat

One of the most exciting parts of StarBlast is the combat. Use your ship's speed to evade enemies early on and gather resources until you are strong enough to engage in battle. Always keep your weapons stocked and focus on improving your attack and defense capabilities!
