Solitr is an engaging online card game based on the classic solitaire, offering endless entertainment and a great way to relax after a long day. It provides a perfect blend of strategy and relaxation, allowing you to immerse yourself in its easy-to-learn, yet addictive gameplay. The best part? There’s no need to worry about cleanup—everything is digital!
The objective of Solitr is quite similar to the traditional solitaire card game: move all the cards to the four foundation piles in the top-right corner of the screen, leaving no cards behind on the board.
The rules are simple: you must stack each suit of cards in ascending order, from King to Ace. When a pile is arranged in the correct order, it can be moved to the foundation. A stockpile is hidden at the top left of the screen, where you can flip one or three cards at a time, but only one card will be available to move at once.
Your strategy will be to carefully move the revealed stockpile card onto one of the seven tableau columns, depending on whether it fits in ascending order. You can drag cards to any of the tableau columns or to the foundations. Keep in mind that tableau columns must alternate in color, arranged from high (King) to low (Ace).
For the foundation piles, cards must be stacked in the same suit, from Ace to King, in ascending order. In the tableau, cards are arranged in alternating colors, from King to Ace. Any empty spaces in the tableau can be filled with a King of any suit.
Because the deck is shuffled randomly, you’ll need to think ahead and plan each move carefully as you uncover cards one by one. This is the core challenge of solitaire.
You can move individual cards or groups of cards within the tableau. However, you can only move cards from the waste pile. When you reveal a face-down card in a tableau column, it will automatically turn face-up for you.
If you enjoy Solitr, there are many other puzzle games to explore, including digital versions of popular tabletop games. Check out Yahtzee Online, Uno Online, Mahjongg Solitaire, Ludo, Rummikub, and more. With these online versions, game night can happen every day!
